Photographing in the SUNSHINE!

Ok, if you know anything about my work, it's that I avoid the sun AT ALL COSTS! All my senior photo sessions take place either first thing in the morning, or later in the evening when the light is softer and the air is cooler (seriously, who wants to hang out for a few hours when it's 105 outside?!). Avoiding the sun is not an easy thing to do when you work in the Bay Area in California...

Sometimes you just need to have a session to try out new techniques and do something a little different. I haven't photographed many portraits indoors, and wanted to try out using my new glass prism - can honestly say it was a great success! I cannot WAIT to use these techniques in my next senior portrait session - you guys are gonna love it!

You may remember last week I uploaded a photo set of the beautiful Paige - well, this is her twin brother! Her TWIN! I was so excited to photograph a set of fraternal twins, as I also have a twin brother (needless to say, we also look nothing alike!) It was a blast talking about twin things, and laughing at the questions we always get asked when we tell people we are twins… :)
